Doctoral Program Tuition and Fees
Viridis Graduate Institute treats all students as “full-time” and charges tuition at a standard, flat, per-term tuition, not per-credit or per-course. Tuition covers access to all course lectures (with the exception of scheduled maintenance or unforeseen Internet broadband service interruption), curriculum syllabi through the student portal and learning management system (OCEANS); faculty support; coursework assessments and feedback; and online classes.
Viridis Graduate Institute is a DISTANCE EDUCATION PROVIDER. Our educational offerings are delivered in real time online through WebEx technology where students and instructors meet weekly in a live interactive classroom platform.

Standard Number of Credit Hours / Competency Units (credit equivalents) for this program: 63
Time Commitment for Degree: Doctoral students must complete year one of three (3) quarters of coursework in no less than nine (9) months, and one course in no less than four (4) months; year two of one course in no less than fourteen (14) months; and year three of one course, the Dissertation project, which must be completed in no more than twenty-seven (27) months from the end of year two from the date of enrollment. The maximum time to complete the program is 3 years (3 terms).
Year 1 program cost (tuition + fees): $9,600 for the initial first term (12 months), which is based upon the tuition rate in effect on the Scheduled Start Date.
Year 2 program cost (tuition & fees): $3,100 for the second term (12 months), which is based upon the tuition rate in effect on the Scheduled Start Date. Students are enrolled in EEHUM 709 Dissertation Formulation and Research Methodologies; a 14-month course that guides students through the second year of the dissertation process.
Year 3 Program cost (tuition $ fees): $3,100 for the third term (12 months), which is based upon the tuition rate in effect on the Scheduled Start Date. Students are enrolled in EEHUM 710 Dissertation Project, the writing and research of the dissertation.

TUITION PAYMENT PLAN SCHEDULE
Students may select a payment plan schedule.
Biannual Tuition Payment ($15,800). Five (5) payments of $3,160 over the two (2) years of the three (3) term / years program. (This includes Tuition, ReWilding fees, Dissertation Project fee, e-Library fee, Technology fee). Payments are due August 1, December 1 of 2017; and April 1, August 1, December 1, 2018.
Tuition Payment with ReWilding Fees Paid Separately ($14,800). Five (5) payments $2,960 over the two (2) years of my three (3) term / years program. Payments are due August 1, December 1 of 2017; and April 1, August 1, December 1, 2018. (This includes Tuition, Dissertation Project fee, e-Library fee, Technology fee). *This is a better choice for international students that may not be able to attend all ReWilding Experiences.
Monthly Tuition Payments ($15,800). Fifteen (15) monthly payments of $1,000 and a final monthly payment of $800.00. Payments are due on the 5th of each month, starting on August 5th of program start year. (This includes Tuition, ReWilding fees, Dissertation Project fee, e-Library fee, Technology fee).
ReWilding Experience Fee ($500). I agree to pay $500 thirty (30) days before each ReWilding start date.
ReWilding Fee: ReWilding Experience courses are from Thursday – Sunday (Thursday arrival – Sunday departures). Lodging is included in ReWilding fee. Airfare and Meals are not included in ReWilding fee. Students make their own convenient flight and transportation arrangements for each ReWilding. Meals are student’s responsibility for each residency. The ReWilding Experiences take place in National Parks or areas where food is easily available. See Student Handbook under Other Fees for estimated meal costs. Fee is paid in full 30 days before the date of ReWilding.
Dissertation Project Fee: The Dissertation Project fee covers faculty and administrative costs for support and time working with students throughout their dissertation process.
E-Library Fee: The e-Library fee covers the required technical support for managing and maintaining the online library for student research.
Technology Fee: The technology fee covers technical staff and online technology required for a distance learning institute.

Financial Aid: Viridis Graduate Institute does not participate in government funding programs. Though the primary responsibility for education financing rests with the student, we encourage applicants to explore any of the following avenues of financial assistance:
